This hall is one of the castles most magnificent.
It have mural paintings that was rediscovered during a restoration work in the 1930's. They probably derive from Axel Gyllenstiernas rebuilding of the castle in 1700.
The cabinet in the room is a most interesting furniture. It has probably belonged to him. If so, this cabinet is one of the oldest objects at Svaneholm.
The beautiful fireplace has a fire shade from 1776. It is told that is once belonged to queen Lovisa Ulrika, married to king Adolf Fredrik and mother to king Gustaf III.
The portrait medal at the wall imagine Macklean and was made by the famous sculptor Johan Tobias Sergel (1740 - 1814).
The Stone Hall is today often used as wedding chapel.
