The surroundings

The beautiful surroundings show fertile flat land as well as a rolling beech wood. The Svaneholm lake is a good place for boat excursions and fishing. Boats can be rented at the castle.
Take the short walk (about one mile) around the lake and discover our lovely varied south-Swedish nature. The path you will follow is the nobility's former "hunting path". Svaneholm Castle and the surrounding area is protected historic environment. Notice the architecture of the houses of the nearby Svaneholm farm.
