| The court-dress (used when he was in Stockholm visiting the king) and the objects here have all belonged to him. The library contains a lot of books, most of them literature about agriculture, science and school pedagogy. | |
| Macklean was also interested in political literature. Some of the books are about the ideas of the French revolution. Being a nobility man he was unusually left-winged. | |
