The
Villie Shop
This is a small shop from the nearby village Villie. In earlier days,
shops like this, selling everything from groceries to boots and agricultural
implement, was common in the Swedish countryside. Today they are very
rare.
In the 1980's, when this shop was closed down for ever, the last owner
Wilma Persson donated the whole estate, with fixtures, furnishing and merchandise
to the Svaneholm Castles museum.
