The Blue Cabinet
PHOTO: HÅKAN CERNE
A blue cabinet (cabinet: a French word for a small, intimate room) with an air of the 16th century.
Admire the rococo furniture, the artwork on the walls and take a look at the collection of nippes (nippes: French for pieces of jewelry, trinkets) and other small objects in the showcase. One of them is unpretentious but unique; it reminds of count Axel von Fersens (1755 - 1810) last day in life - the day he was brutally beaten up and killed by an angry street mob in Stockholm the capitol of Sweden.
